Swimmer Sophie Pascoe has become New Zealand's most successful ever Paralympian after winning gold in the 100m butterfly S10.
Pascoe finished with a Paralympic record time of 1.02.65 ahead of China's Chen Yi and Poland's Oliwia Jablonska.
The 23-year-old has now won three gold medals and a silver in Rio, lifting her career tally to nine golds and 14 medals in total.
She has equaled Eve Rimmer's record, who won a collection of athletics medals from 1968 to 1980, but moves ahead as she has won more gold medals.
Earlier, Kiwi Paralympian Cameron Leslie has continued his streak in the individual medley after swimming to his third straight gold.
Leslie won the 150m IM SM4 event in Beijing and London before his resounding win in Rio that broke his previous world record time.
The 26-year-old finished with a time of 2:23.12.
Zhipeng Jin of China finished second, while Denmark's Jonas Larsen finished in third.
