Four of the biggest names in women's tennis are set to feature at the ASB Classic in the New Year.
Former tournament champion Venus Williams will join superstar sister Serena for what will be her fourth appearance at the event.
Newshub also understands that Ana Ivanovic and former world no.1 and 2015 finalist Caroline Wozniacki will be returning.
Williams is excited to return to Auckland, this time with her sister in tow.
"I really love playing in Auckland. This will be my forth year and it has become a special place for me," said Williams.
"It is a really nice crowd to play in front of and always full. I have fond memories winning a title and reaching another final there.
"I hope I can repeat this in 2017".
The ASB Classic starts January 2nd and runs through until the 14th.
