Three New Zealand Breakers players will compete in the National Basketball League All-Star game in Adelaide this month.

Guard Cedric Jackson and forward Tom Abercrombie won enough votes to be included in the starting five for the South All-Stars team, while forward Mika Vukona is on the bench.

Jackson finished second-highest in the selection process, earning 1125 fan votes.

That was topped by Cairns Taipan centre Cameron Tragardh, who received 1401 votes to earn a starting berth for the North All-Stars in the match on December 22.

American import Jackson has been in superb form for the NBL-leading Breakers, who have begun the season with eight wins from 10 matches in pursuit of a second-straight title.

Breakers coach Andrej Lemanis will coach the South All-Stars.
