Tiger Woods is being accused of deliberately distracting Sergio Garcia, en-route to victory at The Players Championship last weekend.

World golf's number one claimed course marshals gave him permission to prepare for a shot, while playing partner Garcia was in the middle of his backswing.

But ESPN golf writer Skip Bayless is now questioning Tiger's integrity, after the officials concerned denied they gave him the all clear.

"There's bad blood between them already, out of bounds for Tiger and again one marshall told Sports Illustrated that statement from Tiger lacked character, I lose some respect that I had gained back for Tiger," he says.

Wood's also avoided punishment for a controversial drop on the 14th hole, just a month after he was penalised for an illegal ball drop at The Masters.
