Lucy Van Dalen and Hamish Carson won the prestigious 1500m titles on the final day of the New Zealand track and field championships in Auckland.
London Olympian Van Dalen, from Whanganui, took the lead early in the women's final on Sunday and was unchallenged by Waikato's 3000m national champion Camille Buscomb, winning in four minutes 16.80 seconds.
Carson of Wellington had a tougher task, only getting in front of Canterbury's Hayden McLaren over the last 50m to win in 3min 46.26sec.
Stuart Farquhar, who was ninth in the javelin at the Olympics last year, produced a best throw of 80.17m at Mt Smart Stadium to claim a 13th national title.
Joseph Millar claimed a sprint double. The Tauranga athlete won the 200m final in 21.38sec to add to his 100m victory on Friday.
Portia Bing of Auckland won the women's 200m from Fiona Morrison and national hockey representative Anita Punt.
Mariah Ririnui, who won the women's 100m final on Friday, picked up her second title by winning the long jump with a best leap of 6.01m.
