The longstanding tradition of jumping into the Wellington harbour after training continued today for the All Blacks Sevens team.
Coach Sir Gordon Tietjens admitted he'd skip the jump, but the full playing squad made the most of the chance to cool off on a muggy day in the Capital.
It's tradition for the players to jump into the harbour each day after training during their preparation for the Wellington leg of the Sevens.
With the future of the Wellington tournament in doubt over dwindling crowds, this may be one of the last opportunities the players get to continue the tradition.
