Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was full of praise for his opponent Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp ahead of their encounter at the Emirates Stadium.

Wenger called Klopp's achievements 'exceptional' after the German side finished runners up to Bayern Munich both in the Champions League and the Bundesliga last season.

Klopp though won't be in the dugout at the Emirates when the two team play in Group F as he will serve a one-match ban for losing his temper when his team lost 2-1 to Napoli.

Despite being top of the group and of the Premier League goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny warned of the quality Polish contingent that the German side have in Robert Lewandowski and Jakub Blaszczykowski.

Arsenal won 2-1 the last time the two teams met in London back in 2011.

Robin Van Persie scored twice on that night but he has since left for Manchester United.

Arsenal failed again to sign another striker in the transfer window but Wenger says he is content with his squad.

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini will miss Tuesday's match because of a concussion.
