A Cleveland Cavaliers fan has come good on his bet that he'd eat his shirt if the Warriors made the NBA Finals.
Reddit user PARTYxDIRTYDAN was obviously feeling pretty confident in Steven Adams and the Oklahoma City Thunder, but was made to eat his words…or rather his t-shirt.
"I don't wanna like die, so I'm just going to eat part of this shirt," the fan said before taking scissors to a garment that had "Cavs in 6" scrawled on it.
With the help of some barbecue sauce, the Cleveland fan starting eating his shirt piece by piece.
"It wasn't that terrible with barbecue sauce, I feel like this probably isn't the most healthy thing, but I said I would."
The female behind the camera can't help but laugh as the fan utters: "It's not even chewable," as he stuff the second piece in his mouth.
We appreciate the fan being true to his word, but he might want to err on the side of caution and not repeat his bet for the NBA Finals.
The Warriors host the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Friday (NZT).
