Video: Curry throws mouth guard at fan after fouling out

  • 17/06/2016

Warriors guard Stephen Curry fired his mouth guard at a fan in disgust after fouling out of Game Six of the NBA Finals.

Curry was called for fouling LeBron James, and reacted by slinging his mouth guard at a fan as he argued the call.

The fan, who was waving at Curry after he fouled out, copped the mouth guard in the shoulder, ducking away at the last second after Curry's point blank throw.

It's uncharacteristic to see Curry lose his cool, and the NBA MVP was quick to apologise to the Cleveland fan after the red mist cleared, but he was still given an additional technical foul from the referees.

It is the first time Curry has fouled out since December 2013 and his first ever career ejection.

Hopefully for the fans sake he got to keep the mouth piece, because no doubt that would have gone for quite the price on eBay.

The Warriors went on to lose 115-101 as the Cavaliers forced a deciding Game Seven on Monday (NZT).
