Video: Denny Hamlin wins Daytona 500 in wild photo finish

Denny Hamlin edged Martin Truex Jr. by a matter of inches to win the Daytona 500 in the closest finish in the race's history.

Hamlin won by 0.11 seconds in a wild photo finish that capped an incredible last-lap move.

The 35-year-old came into contact with Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Matt Kenseth, who led coming into the final lap and tried to block Hamlin up high.

But Hamlin busted past Kenseth, who finished 14th, and beat Truex Jr. in a race that'll be remembered for years to come.

It is Hamlin's first 500 win and the first win for team owner Joe Gibbs in 23 years.

Favourite Dale Earnhardt Jr. spun off turn four with 31 laps to go, going nose-first into the inside wall and ending his chances.
