English Premier League leaders Manchester City traveled to Goodison Park to meet Everton, eager to maintain their top standing.
But things didn’t come easy for City, and it wasn’t until well into the second half that a goal came – though it came for Everton.
Darron Gibson, recently transferred to Everton in the January transfer window, from Manchester United, struck from distance to slam the ball into the back of the net.
