A heavy hitting field of 80 skiers and snowboarders took on The Remarkables in Queenstown for the North Face Frontier Freeride World Qualifier.
The tour is designed to develop the talent and skills of up-and-coming athletes whose ultimate goal is to qualify for the Freeride World Tour.
The competitors were greeted by calm conditions and blue skies as they battled for top scores on the course venue in the Shadow Basin.
Competitors had only one run to impress the judges and were judged on air and style, fluidity, technique, line and control.
