British golfer James Morrison sent the ball to its happy place, then found a new one of his own.

Morrison sparked wild scenes after sinking a hole-in-one during a BMW PGA Championship event and went home with a car worth over £95,000k ($208,000NZD).

The 31-year-old used a five iron off for the 187-yard shot off the tee, and needed just two bounces off the green before his shot landed straight in the hole.

Morrison celebrated in front of his new sparkling red BMW i8 before jumping right in.

The celebrations continued down the fairway as he picked up his playing partner Andy Sullivan and carried him around.

Amazingly it's the second BMW Morrison has won in four years after taking home a 6-series Gran Coupe at the 2012 Irish Open at Royal Portrush.
