Sergio Aguero has scored twice as Manchester City maintained their 100 per cent record in the Premier League with a 3-1 win at Swansea.

Raheem Sterling got the other to make it six wins out of six for City on Saturday, extending their lead at the top to four points.

Everton dropped to fourth after a 1-0 loss at Bournemouth, while Tottenham are second after winning 2-1 at Middlesbrough and Liverpool climbed to third thanks to a 5-1 mauling of Hull.

Manchester United bounced back to form with a 4-1 thrashing of champions Leicester, while Sunderland are bottom after letting slip a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace.

Sunderland led Palace 2-0 through two Jermain Defoe goals but Joe Ledley and James McArthur pulled the visitors level and Christian Benteke won it for Palace with a late third.

Son Heung Min scored both goals as Spurs won 2-1 at Middlesbrough to go second.

James Milner scored twice from the spot as Liverpool thumped Hull 5-1, the visitors' chances ending when Ahmed Elmohamady was sent off for handball.

Salomon Rondon's late equaliser denied Stoke a first victory, cancelling out Joe Allen's first goal for the club.

Bournemouth beat Everton 1-0 to move away from the relegation zone, with Junior Stanislas netting the only goal.
