Video highlights: Warriors dispatch Raiders in quarter-final - NRL Nines

The Warriors have booked a spot in the semi-finals with a comfortable 16-8 win over the Canberra Raiders.

Warriors lynchpin was the spark for the first try of the contest, throwing a pin-point pass wide for Jonathan Wright to run one in unopposed.

Solomone Kata extended the locals' lead to 8-0 just a minute later, capitalising on a Blake Ayshford break to stumble over in the corner.

The hulking back had his brace soon afterwards, showing impressive strength to crash over under the attention of two defenders.

The Warriors were back in the action shortly after the halftime break, an awkward bouncing grubber sitting up perfectly for Henare Wells to blow the score out to 16-0.

The Raiders finally got on the scoreboard through Zac Santo, running 50 metres down a short blindside to give his side a glimmer of hope.

Jordan Rapana pulled in a precision chip kick to the corner to cut the deficit to eight points for Canberra, but it was a case of too little, too late.

The Warriors now advance to a semi-final against the winner of the final quarter-final between Manly and Gold Coast.
