The composure shown from Alan to brush off an advancing Casillas and calmly finish was impressive, but really the chance never should have been presented to him with defenders bearing down on him.
Trailing 2-1 in stoppage time, Casillas' moment of madness when he decided to play sweeper keeper sealed his side's 3-1 defeat as he was left standing with hands on hips watching the ball roll into the goal.
The decision making is something you certainly wouldn't expect from a World Cup and Champions League-winning keeper.
