A man has stolen another fans late chance to land a $200,000 payday at the Black Caps V India cricket match in Wellington tonight.
After the ball was smacked into the crowd late in the match, a fan in an orange shirt had the catch all lined up before a fan in an India shirt dived across a couple of rows of seats to try and land the catch.
Somewhat deservedly so, the fan spilled his beer everywhere as he dived to catch the ball.
The prize money had been doubled by Tui to $200,000 and the fan in the India shirt definitely needs to buy the other bloke a beverage.
