West Indies’ Kieron Pollard has taken a magnificent catch in the third one day match between Australia and the West Indies at Manuka Oval in Canberra.

Australia’s Glenn Maxwell front-foot swept off the bowling of Sunil Narine and it looked as good as six runs from the moment it left the bat.

Enter SuperPollard.

Pollard climbed high in the 47th over to take a stunning one-handed catch on the boundary. The Canberra crowd paid their respects for the athleticism by rising to their feet and providing a thunderous round of applause. A couple of overs later, he took another one, climbing high again to dismiss George Bailey.

But even the fielding of Pollard couldn’t restrict the Australian side as they poured on 329/7 in 50 overs. Shane Watson was the star of the Australian innings, scoring 122 from 111 balls – caught off the bowling of Kemar Roach by, you guessed it, Pollard.
