We're all used to seeing pigeons at the Adelaide Oval get scuttled by a ball during the cricket.
However this time, one unlucky pigeon got into the firing line at Melbourne's AMI Stadium during the FFA Cup Final between Melbourne City and Sydney FC.
The bird was struck by a pass between two defenders before being tended to by Sydney FC goalkeeper Danny Vukovic after the game was stopped to help the bird.
Scooping up the pigeon, Vukovic then tenderly takes it to the sideline whilst stroking it to keep it calm.
The pigeon was released back into the wild after being seen to by a stadium official.
Check it out the video above to see how the pigeon became centre of attention.
