A stray dog has narrowly escaped a grisly ending after a rally car in full flight avoided hitting it in the most fortunate of fashions.
Bolivian rally driver Fernando Zuasnabar looked certain to be headed for the pooch, who was casually strolling along the track, before hitting a perfectly placed rise in the road and soaring above its head.
Of course, Fido took off in hot pursuit.
