Every now and then a moment in sports will make you question what exactly you just witnessed.
That's the best way to sum up the bemusement of Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons after he was caught out by Texas Rangers pitcher Nick Martinez.
Reacting in the fraction of a second, Martinez made a ridiculous behind-the-back, no-look catch and then even had time to throw out the runner on first base and turn a double play.
The cat-like reflexes left everyone speechless, including Simmons who threw his bat down in anger and starred down Martinez.
All of this came after Martinez had just walked a batter and the Rangers were getting ready to pull him from the game as they warmed up other pitchers in the bullpen.
