As far as weekends go, Ardie Savea had an absolute cracker.

The Hurricanes flanker was named in the All Blacks squad for the Welsh Test series on Sunday, but not before scoring two tries in a 27-20 win over the Highlanders on Friday.

The Crusaders reclaimed top spot in Super Rugby with a hard-fought 26-21 win over the Blues in Auckland, Andy Ellis scoring the try to edge his side in front after a strong run from Kieron Fonotia.

Kobus van Wyk flashed his speed as he dotted down for the Stormers in a 31-24 win over the Cheetahs, while the Lions went the distance against the Bulls for a fantastic running try.

We've saved the best for last and Western Force winger Luke Morahan provided a beauty in the final game of the round.

Morahan's effort in his side's 27-22 loss to the Rebels brought back memories of Jeff Wilson's chip and chase.
