Warriors could know their finals fate before their match against the West Tigers on Sunday afternoon.

A Titans win over the Panthers in Queensland on Saturday night will rule the ninth-placed Warriors out of finals contention.

Warriors coach Andrew McFadden is disappointed with how things have been for his side in the last two weeks which has left the Warriors’ fate out of their hands.

"It is disappointing that we have let the opportunity go when it was in our hands.

"We are still working hard, and just have to focus on the next two games." McFadden added.

McFadden was also frustrated with the individual errors creeping into the Warriors game at this time of season.

"It's frustrating it's happened in the last couple of weeks because when we had that consistent run, it wasn't in our game."

If the Titans lose and the Warriors win, the Warriors will need to beat the Parramatta Eels and also need the North Queensland Cowboys to beat the Titans in the final round of the NRL regular season.

McFadden also shut down any rumours of Broncos forward Matt Gillett moving to the Warriors, saying the club was being used as a "pawn" in Gillett's contract negotiations.

"That's come from left field," McFadden said.

"That's what people do, they use us as a bit of a pawn and we can't really do much about it."
