$3.5 million worth of New Zealand art up for auction
Monday 10 Sep 2012 4:27 p.m.
This time tomorrow night, New Zealand’s largest private art collection will be auctioned off.
The 240 works are thought to be worth somewhere in the region of $3.5 million.
Works by McCahon, Hotere, Woolaston, Binney and many of the other superstars of the New Zealand art scene will be up for grabs.
And for decades, they've crammed the walls of a suburban home in Wellington, belonging to Milly and Les Paris.
Campbell Live was invited exclusively into their home the day before all that art was shipped to Auckland.
