Auckland's traffic rats

Those of you fortunate enough to not have to regularly travel on Auckland's roads, won't have witnessed the insights into human nature it provides.
In short, many multi-lane roads in this city are made up of lanes eventually heading in different directions.
Some lanes move fast, and some lanes move very slow, side by side.
And some people whip along the fast lanes, speeding past long queues, then duck into the slow lane at the last moment.
You can imagine how that goes down.
And now there's a new queue beating technique involving illegal u-turns.
Tristram Clayton went to Tristram Road to witness it in action.
