Martyn Payne moved to New Zealand from the UK nearly seven years ago, and set up a thriving business in Northland.
But Immigration decided his health wasn't up to scratch and have forced him to leave - a heart breaking decision for his family left behind, who are fighting to bring him back.
Campbell Live asked the associate immigration minister Kate Wilkinson to come on the programme to discuss this, but she declined.
Her last letter to Martyn Payne dated 20th of April says she has already declined to intervene and she won't reconsider that.
She says there is no new information being put forward, and unless there is a significant change in his circumstances, his appeal will not be looked at again.
