Using the phone while driving: the worst in NZ
Friday 23 Nov 2012 3:34 p.m.

Police will be conducting a blitz next week to remind people of the risks of driving while distracted.
Currently, the penalties for being caught are an $80 fine and 20 demerit points.
Over the past three years, police have issued more than 28,000 tickets. It seems there are still plenty of people flouting the law.
So Campbell Live hit the streets in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
