Labour Party leader David Shearer is nearly a year into the job. Is he still the right leader to take on National at the next election?
This morning Mr Shearer gave an extended interview with The Nation.
He took questions from political journalists Alex Tarrant from Interest.co.nz and Fairfax political reporter John Hartevelt.
He called for a full inquiry into the GCSB’s spying of Kim Dotcom and discussed Labour’s policies on welfare, the economy, National Standards for schools and the future of the Labour Party.
