An Australian zoo owner is recovering in hospital after a crocodile bit off his thumb during a feeding demonstration.
Macca the crocodile grabbed Ian Jenkins' hand while he was working at his Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo in southern Queensland.
The 58-year-old was saved by a brave assistant, who distracted the beast by tapping on its body.
Mr Jenkins' wife, Barbara, said her husband had miscalculated the speed of the crocodile.
