A Brisbane mother and an Australian 60 Minutes television crew could face 20 years in prison after being charged in Lebanon over an alleged bungled child snatch.

Sally Faulkner and the four member TV crew have been charged with abduction at gunpoint.

They were among nine people arrested last week for allegedly trying to take Ms Faulkner's two children from her Lebanese ex-husband.
