A handsome chai wala (tea seller) in Pakistan has become an overnight sensation after a photographer snapped him at work.
Arshad Khan, 18, was photographed by Javiera Ali at Islamabad's Sunday Bazaar. His picture quickly spread across Twitter and #ChaiWala began to spread across social media.
Fitin.pk, an online shopping site based in Islamabad, quickly signed Mr Khan up to model their menswear, promoting him with the message: "Chai wala is no more chai wala, now he is fashion wala!"
Mr Khan told media that he had never heard of Twitter or Instagram, but he was "incredibly happy" with his newfound fame. "My friends have been showing me pictures," he said.
