A cat in Poland who recovered from a serious infection is now infecting other animals with his compassion.
Radamenes, a black cat from Bydgoszcz, was brought to an animal shelter with an upper respiratory infection and was not expected to live through it, One Green Planet reports.
Vets contemplated putting Radamenes out of his misery, until he began purring and they changed their mind.
After regaining his strength, the little black cat began looking after other animals recovering in the shelter.
Staff at the shelter noticed Radamenes was fond of animals who had undergone major surgeries or procedures.
The compassionate kitty would clean and hug the other animals, just like a medical nurse would.
Pictures of Radamenes cuddling up with several recovering animals were published on TVN Metro, a polish news website.
More images have since been shared on social media, making Radamenes the latest internet cat sensation.
