Feeding ducks at the park might sound like the perfect way to spend the day, but people are now being warned it might be more dangerous than it sounds.
New advice in the UK suggests giving bread to ducks could destroy their habitats and leave the birds feeling stressed and miserable.
In fact, scientists now believe bread is essentially junk food for birds that can harbour bacteria after spending time floating in the water.
Instead, we should be feeding them oats, corn and defrosted frozen peas.
Also, they say giving ducks extra food encourages overpopulation and invites rats into the area.
