Customers were lucky to walk away alive after a woman drove her car straight into the glass window of a Shanghai restaurant.
CCTV footage captured the frightening ordeal, the driver mistakenly slamming on the accelerator instead of the brake while parking her car in front of the restaurant on Friday, according to local police.
The restaurant was reasonably quiet, but the car drove straight through a table where a group of four were eating a late lunch.
They were treated for minor injuries at hospital.
The car was removed with a tow truck after an investigation of the scene.
