Friends fans are in for a treat - everyone's favourite characters are tipped to reunite this February.
NBC network president Bob Greenblatt announced all six cast members will return for a two-hour special, dedicated to the career of veteran comedy director James Burrows.
Mr Burrows directed 15 Friends episodes and was at the helm of other comedic pop culture shows such as Taxi, Will & Grace and the pilot for The Big Bang Theory. He recently directed his 1000th episode.
Fans of the iconic sitcom Friends shouldn't get their hopes up just yet however, because Mr Greenblatt admitted the details were still being worked out.
"I'm hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time," he said.
"I'm not sure we can logistically pull it off."
The episode is due to air on February 21, some 12 years later after the show went off-air in 2004.
