Heroic mother bear rescues cubs from waterfall tumble

The moment a mother bear had to rush to the aid of her unruly cubs has been caught on camera.

The Alaskan brown bear, named Grazer, and her three cubs were fishing above a waterfall in the Katmai National Park for salmon.

Disaster struck when one of the cubs slid over the top, shortly followed by a second tumbling bear.

Maternal instincts in full force, she sprung into action to fish them out just as the third cub washed over the falls.

She dashed into the water and was able to rescue her offspring, so there was a happy reunion for all.
