Man on the run after NZer stabbed to death

A dangerous fugitive is on the run from New South Wales police investigating the stabbing death of an expatriate New Zealander a week ago.
Gordon Cramp, 37, who is believed to be armed, is being sought for questioning after the body of Lance Hargreaves, 62, was found near a paint and soap recycling factory in the west Sydney suburb of Dunheved early last Thursday morning.
A NSW police spokeswoman said today that Cramp has not been found.
Police believe Mr Hargreaves, formerly of Whangarei, was fatally stabbed by someone he knew, and have issued a warrant for Cramp's arrest.
His mother Carol on Monday made an emotional plea for her son to hand himself in to authorities.
"I need you to hand yourself in," said Ms Cramp, flanked by senior officers at NSW police headquarters in Parramatta.
"Me and your brother will stand by you and your family.
"Please, just hand yourself in."
Police say Cramp is dangerous, has access to a firearm, and are advising members of the public not to approach him.
