The sometimes exclusive world of opera is trying to break down barriers by reducing the price of certain tickets.
A lucky few were able to watch the opening night of Orpheus and Eurydice at the United Kingdom's Royal Opera House for just $24, standing in the orchestra pit.
The orchestra is traditionally out of sight, but not at this show; it is front and centre, giving the people in the pit an unparalleled view.
"It's great because instead of the orchestra we see people standing there, enjoying [everything] so much," says one of the show's singers, Juan Diego Florez.
