PETA fools people into drinking 'dog milk'

PETA has come up with a new campaign idea - tricking people into drinking "dog milk".

The controversial animal rights group pulled the stunt in London, by asking people to test a new kind of milk by a brand called Barkers.

The unsuspecting customers drink the milk, and complement the milk on its delicious flavour and creamy texture.

However, things go sour when they are told they are drinking "dog milk".

The passer-bys spit and swear in disgust.

"I drank dog's milk?" one horrified person asked.

"Would you ever drink this madness?!" another enraged taste-tester asked.

PETA has defended its actions in an online blog post.

"People were disgusted when they were told that the drink (which was actually soya milk) came from a dog. But if the thought of drinking dogs' milk makes you feel ill, why drink the milk from any other animal?" PETA wrote.

"Humans are the only species on the planet to drink another animal's milk, and cows' milk is no more natural for us than dogs' or rats' milk would be.

"If the thought of drinking a cold glass of dogs' milk makes you shiver, consider the reality of drinking cows' milk and try eating (and drinking!) vegan instead."
