Just as the world was beginning to come to terms with the death of David Bowie, another musical icon has passed away.
Eagles guitarist and founding member Glenn Frey died in New York City, aged 67, the band announced today.
After a "courageous battle" the musician "succumbed to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia."
