Quilting can be a long and slow process, even for the most experienced seamstress.
For one woman, it's a hobby that's followed her into retirement with no sign of slowing down.
Trudie Hughes retired from running a quilt shop seven years ago but still works seven days a week, 10 hours a day.
"That is my retirement - I get to now play."
She sets a blistering pace in her basement workshop stitching two quilts a day, about 60 quilts a month.
"II love the whole process. I'm working on one and thinking' 'Oh gosh, next time, I'll do this!"
