Venetians sick of all the tourists

Hundreds of frustrated locals have marched through the narrow streets of Venice to protest against mass tourism.

They say they are fed up with battling crowds and can't afford the skyrocketing rents.

More than 74,000 visitors arrive in the Italian city each day on cruise ships and trains.

Venice's resident population is less than 300,000. Only 60,000 people live in the historic city.
