Video has emerged of two women surviving being run over by a train in the US state of Indiana.
The train was crossing a bridge on July 10 when the driver spotted the women on the track. He applied his emergency brakes and sounded his horn, but couldn't stop in time.
The bridge was about 25 metres high and the women had nowhere to go.
They tried to outrun the train but eventually, with seconds to spare, they lay down on the tracks, getting up and running off to their car after the train had passed over them.
Indiana Rail Road spokesman Eric Powell told WTHR-TV their survival was "nothing short of a miracle".
Authorities are viewing the video footage and considering criminal charges for the women.
