Even if your New Year resolution was to get fit, it is unlikely you will go as far as James Thomas of Edinburgh.
He is setting off on a walk from Scotland’s capital to the Edinburgh of New Zealand, in Dunedin.
He will cross jungles, desert and war-torn countries.
