Tipple competed at the Rio Olympics, finishing 13th, and will contest the women’s skeet at her first Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

The 2015 Oceania Champion is no stranger to success, having won silver at the 2017 Commonwealth Championships, and she secured bronze last year at the World Cup event in India.

After reaching a world ranking as high as nine, Tipple is a legitimate medal prospect in 2018. She bases herself in Christchurch, but spends time abroad, training with her coach and men's world #2, George Achilleos.

Tipple is the future of New Zealand shooting, and her medal-winning pedigree in youth, Oceania and Commonwealth events has her primed for a great performance in the Gold Coast.
