Ryan Sissons has competed at the London 2012 and Rio 20126 Olympics, as well as the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Sissons has raced on the ITU (International Triathlons Union) stage since 2009 and has enjoyed a strong campaign that includes two top-10 performances in 2016, as well as winning the 2017 Madrid ITU Triathlon World Cup.

The Zimbabwe-born 29-year-old has twice stood on the podium with the New Zealand team at the ITU World Mixed Relay Championships (bronze 2010 and silver 2013) and was the silver medal winner in the 2010 ITU U23's Men's World Championships.

In 91 starts, he has 20 podiums and eight wins on the ITU circuit.
