Smith will be the senior member of the NZ bowls contingent to Birmingham - her fifth Commonwealth Games appearance.
She debuted in women's triples at Melbourne 2006, and became world singles and pairs champion at her hometown of Christchurch two years later.
At Delhi 2010, Smith took the singles silver medal and was part of the bronze-medal four at Glasgow 2014, but could not progress past pool play in fours and pairs at Gold Coast 2018. At Birmingham, she will contest triples and fours.
She has won six NZ national titles, consisting four pairs crowns and two fours championships.
