Teenager Fairweather stunned the world at the Tokyo Olympics, when she shattered the national 400m freestyle record held by Lauren Boyle to qualify for the final.
Previously, the Dunedin teen was better known over 200 metres, where she was world junior champion in 2019, finishing fourth at the longer event.
Her Tokyo performance saw her named Halberg Awards Emerging Talent and she followed up her Olympic performance with sixth over 400 metres at last month's world championships.
