The second trailer has been released for X Factor NZ judge Stan Walker's upcoming film Born to Dance.
It's a coming-of-age tale told through the eyes of Tu, an ambitious young man from Auckland who dreams of being a professional hip-hop dancer.
The film stars Kherington Payne and Tia-Taharoa Maipi alongside Walker and was directed by Tammy Davis.
Born to Dance is choreographed by Parris Goebel, who has worked with Jennifer Lopez and Cirque du Soleil, as well as recently acting and co-choreographing in the fifth instalment of the Step Up franchise.
''Being Polynesian, it's awesome to have a Maori director, a Samoan choreographer and the cast is predominantly Polynesian. It speaks a lot to the people who are going to be watching it,'' says Walker.
"New Zealand is one of the biggest hip-hop dance nations and it will be awesome to get our story and our dancers showcased to an international audience."
Born to Dance is set for a release on Septmeber 24.
