Oprah Winfrey is set to make her first ever trip to New Zealand this year, making a single public appearance in an event titled "An Evening with Oprah".
The former talk show queen will be in New Zealand on December 16, and ticketing details for her event will be available next Sunday.
Winfrey has been dubbed one of the world's most powerful women, and despite not being on television herself anymore, still overlooks a host of other talk shows with her network 'OWN'.
The upcoming event is said to be a one-of-a-kind evening, where Winfrey will talk about her life and past, and give insights into her success.
Winfrey said in a statement she can't wait to spend an evening in New Zealand.
"I look forward to being reconnected, rejuvenated and reinspired about what is possible for our lives. I am also excited to visit New Zealand for the very first time!”
Winfrey is also booked for 5 tour dates in Australia, a country she last visited five years ago.
The tour is being produced by Iconic Entertainment and Dainty Group.
